All Poser World membership content, CDROM's and individual items available in our store work with Poser 4, Poser 5, Poser 6, Poser 7 and DAZ Studio unless otherwise noted. All models and/or meshes are in OBJ format so many items will also work in other 3D applications that allow OBJ import.

Once we receive your completed order we will send you an activation email with the URL, your username, password as well as your expiration date for accessing the members only downloads. Generally it takes less than 30 minutes for us to receive your order and activate your member only access to download our Poser content. After hours (after 8pm EST – US) it can take a little longer, but you will have access very shortly.

All the content created in the last 2 years has install paths in the zip files, just like most commercial content packages. We are currently working on the older content to make it easier for users to install.

Answer
NO! The Poser World website is on its own dedicated server and very rarely do we every have to take the site offline. Basically the only time the website is offline is if we have to restart it after applying security patches, and that only takes about 5 to 8 minutes. Most of the time the server is up and running for 30+ days at a time. Support is excellent and we try to reply to support issues within the hour, most often within minutes during normal hours (6am to 8pm – 7 days a week). We have staff available to take care of any support issues during our normal office hours and even on weekends. You can use the support form that is on the "Contact" page to submit issues, or post in the Poser World (only members can post) forum if the issue is related to one of the items on the website.

"What is the licensing for the Poser World subscription content?"
Answer
All Poser World subscription content is royalty free for commercial use, provided that you are creating derivative works (scenes, animations, commercial projects). You may not resell our items as they are found on the site (unaltered), either individually or as a group.
While we do have a website terms of use agreement that covers various things besides the Poser World content items (such as abusive users or misuse of content) the Poser World content license supersedes the terms of use agreement in regards to the content being royalty-free for commercial use. We have on occasion rescinded the right to use Poser World content or to access the Poser World website to abusive users, however this has been a very rare occurrence.
